Petroplan appoints new senior leadership team following 'strategic shift'

Petroplan has appointed six senior leaders to help transform its business strategy as it seeks global growth.

The Aberdeen-headquartered energy talent acquisition company has appointed Christopher Honeyman Brown as its new chief executive, while Chris Morris becomes chief financial officer, Darren Brown is the new regional director for Europe, Middle East and Asia, and Darci Kruse becomes country manager for Canada.

Honeyman Brown moves to the top position, following three years as a non executive director for the business. He is a chartered accountant with 30 years of public practice.

Morris joined Petroplan in July from recruitment firm Kelly Services, where he was the financial director for the UK and Ireland.

Darren Brown joined in September from his role as a director at RHL Recruitment.

The new senior team will be responsible for driving the delivery of solutions to clients and presenting opportunities to new and potential candidates within the sectors.

Petroplan is expanding worldwide services from its offices in London, Guildford, Calgary, Muscat and Dubai, as well as a new hub in Manchester.

Following a post-pandemic review of existing services, Petroplan is undergoing a ‘strategic shift’ as it adapts the service offering.

Honeyman Brown said: “Having completed the recruitment of a fresh, new management team at Petroplan, we are working hard to dominate the markets in which we operate.

“Our new senior leadership team are successfully showing colleagues, clients and candidates how recruitment should be done – across the globe and across multiple disciplines.”
