Paul Pogba gives two fingers to camera as he leaves Carrington after huge bust-up with Jose Mourinho

A RAGING Paul Pogba gave two fingers to cameras as he left Manchester United’s training ground after another frosty exchange with Jose Mourinho.

Sat in the passenger’s seat of his Rolls Royce, under-fire Pogba flipped the V-sign at photographers as he drove out the Carrington Training Base this afternoon.

The incident came just hours after Pogba had been involved in a frosty exchange with Mourinho during a training session.

A frowning Pogba appeared to be angered by the conversation with Mourinho, who confirmed last night that the Frenchman had been demoted from vice-captain.

The duo were involved in a huge bust-up following the 1-1 draw with newly-promoted Wolves on Saturday.

SunSport revealed Mourinho gave Pogba a dressing room dressing down, which was followed by the £89million man criticising his coach’s playing style.

Pogba said United needed to “attack, attack, attack” – echoing the calls from United fans during Louis van Gaal’s reign – and suggested it was down to Mourinho.

The Portuguese boss now wants to sell Pogba and the 25-year-old midfielder is expected to leave in January.

Barcelona have been circling the Frenchman, with his agent Mino Raiola keen to orchestrate a big-money move to La Liga.

Yet reports have suggested United’s senior players are angered over Mourinho’s treatment of Pogba, so the future remains murky in Manchester.

There is a moment in this meeting where the two men seem to perform the kind of stare-off and stare-down that prize-fighters use to intimidate one another at the weigh-in before a big fight.

Pogba seems to arrive in ebullient mood, offering slapping handshakes to other players but when he sees Mourinho standing with his hands in his pockets to presumably avoid any greeting rituals with his player he stands rooted to the spot, staring Mourinho down as he mooches round behind him.

Mourinho uses an equally hard stare but Pogba even turns his head to pick up on the aggressive-looking ritual once Mourinho emerges from behind his back.

The player then walks off using a strutting, alpha-style walk before standing with his hands on his hips in a body language signal of splaying that is normally associated with a state of challenge or aggressive arousal.

Mourinho’s problems are both on and off the pitch, though.

Following Saturday’s draw with Wolves, which leaves United eight points off leaders Liverpool already, Mourinho’s side were dumped out of the EFL Cup last night.

Pogba had watched the game from the stands after Mourinho said the midfielder was being “rested”.

Frank Lampard’s Derby got a deserved win at Old Trafford as they beat the Red Devils on penalties after Marouane Fellaini’s late equaliser gave United a life-line.

After the game, Mourinho rejected claims that he and Pogba had fallen out but confirmed he had been dropped as vice-captain.

He said: “I made the decision for Paul not to be the second captain any more.

“It was exactly the same person who decided Paul was the second captain. No fall-out at all, just decisions I do not have to explain.”

With Pogba given a midweek break, all eyes will be on Mourinho’s team sheet on Saturday when United travel to the London Stadium.
