The pair have dropped their first advert for new TV show ‘Men in Kilts’, which is described as a “love letter to Scotland”.
The docuseries, which was shot last year in between filming for Outlander, follows the friends as they go an adventure across the country to explore its history, culture and clans.
Appearing clad in kilts in a clip uploaded to Instagram, the stars say: “We know you’ve probably been trapped at home for a while now and so why not join us on a road trip across Scotland.
“Come along as we explore what it means to be Scottish, the history, the whisky, the culture and the kilts. Now that is an adventure worth watching.”
The hosts don’t announced a release day yet but promise it will be “soon”.
Men In Kilts was originally due to be released before the end of the year, but the covid outbreak meant some scenes were still being finished over the past month or so.
Sharing the video alongside a message to followers, Sam added: “Wee trip around Scotland wouldn’t be complete without Kilts.
“And a camper van. And a grumpy passenger. Oh and whisky. @meninkiltsstarz coming soon!! ”
The actors were spotted filming in places like the East Neuk of Fife and Sam was pictured on his own for a photoshoot at both Glenelg and Eilean Donan Castle.
They also delighted fans by creating a book to go with the show, Clanlands, which delves into their time filming the new project.
