Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is “the best interview she’s ever done” according to Gayle King.
The 66-year-old TV presenter was speaking about the highly anticipated ‘tell all’ chat that Oprah has had with the former royals for a TV special on March 7.
Speaking on CBS This Morning, Gayle enthused about the gravity of the interview and said that there are high expectations for huge revelations about the Duke and Duchess’ life.
A first clip from the chat has shown that the couple are open to talk about all aspects of their lives, with Harry saying he feared Meghan would befall the same fate as his mother, Princess Diana.
Speaking about the interview, Gayle said: “We want to remind you Harry and Meghan are talking to Oprah.
“It’s their first major broadcast since giving up their senior royal duties … and I’ve heard from reliable sources – this is Oprah talking – that it’s the best interview she’s ever done.
“So I’m curious. I think that’s saying something.”
The 90-minute chat will have “nothing off limits” as Meghan and Harry are expected to spill the beans on their life and reasons why they had decided to start a new life in Los Angeles.

CBS said in a statement: “Winfrey will speak with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from stepping into life as a Royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure.
“Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family.”
During US programme 60 Minutes on Sunday, an excerpt of the trio’s sit-down was shown with the chat show Queen telling the couple: “You’ve said some pretty shocking things here”.
Oprah later adds: “I just want to make it clear to everybody there is no subject that’s off-limits.”
The chat show host is a neighbour of Meghan and Harry in California and she was a guest at their 2018 wedding at Windsor Castle.
