North Korean nuke launcher seen at parade ground as Kim Jong-un is set to unveil new missile that can pulverise the US

A MISSILE launcher appears to have been spotted at a North Korean military camp – days after it was revealed Kim Jong-un is planning to showcase his deadliest ever nuke.

Satellite images show a “probable missile-related vehicle” at the Mirim Parade Training Ground in the capital Pyongyang, say experts at the 38 North monitoring group.

The worrying pictures emerged after the Sun Online reported how Kim was planning to showcase a terrifying new Doomsday nuclear missile which can flatten cities anywhere in the US.

We told how he is holding a huge military showcase next month to highlight his deadly arsenal and pride of place is tipped to go to his much-heralded Hwasong-15 ballisitic missile.

Analysts at the International Institute for Strategic Studies believe the terrifying rocket can deliver a 1,000-kilogram payload an estimated 8,000 miles.

Kim’s state media has described it as a “new-type of inter-continental ballistic rocket weaponry system capable of carrying super-heavy nuclear warhead and attacking the whole mainland of the US”.

38 North – a website devoted to analysing North Korea – revealed the latest images were taken by a commercial satellite on Tuesday.

“While imagery resolution is insufficient to determine exactly what the vehicle is, relative size and shape suggests that it may be a transporter-erector-launcher (TEL) for a large missile,” the group said.

The vehicle appeared to be large enough to carry one of the rogue state’s intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM).

38 North say there is a chance the vehicle could be something else but said that seemed “unlikely in this particular location and circumstance”.

Satellite imagery has also shown large formations of troops and vehicles practicing at the parade training ground.

“The recent training strongly suggests a large military parade is planned for the 75th anniversary of the Workers Party of Korea on October 10,” the think-tank said.

North Korea has not shown its largest ballistic missiles at military parades since early 2018, when Kim began a flurry of diplomatic engagement that included three meetings with Donald Trump.

But talks aimed at getting North Korea to give up its nuclear programme have since stalled and earlier this year Kim vowed to unveil a new, unspecified “strategic weapon”.

Analysts have said the North Korea could use the annual holiday to showcase new weapons, either at a parade or in a test.

The apparent launcher spotted at the parade ground appears to be around 20 meters long and approximately 3 meters wide – plenty big enough to carry a Hwasong-15.

The ICBM is – at just over 16 metres –  a good two metres longer than Kim’s “old favourite” the Hwasong-14.

And with a width of two metres it is also also thicker – enabling it to carry much more fuel.

In 2017, the first images of the rocket emerged showing Kim cackling as the missile was test launched.

After supervising the successful launch of the new and improved ICBM, he boasted about his military’s new might.

State TV broadcast a photo of Kim’s signed order where he wrote: “Test launch is approved.

“Taking place at the daybreak of November 29! Fire with courage for the party and country!”

U.S. officials said this week that nuclear-armed North Korea had resumed long-range missile cooperation with Iran but did not provide detailed evidence.
