NoHun says Jesy Nelson and pal manipulated him into setting up Leigh-Anne Pinnock

Social media sensation NoHun has doubled down after leaking DMs allegedly sent to him from Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

In October NoHun, real name Rory Williams, leaked private messages which he alleged were sent from Leigh-Anne’s Instagram account.

He uploaded a string of screenshotted messages to him from a user claiming to be Leigh-Anne where ex-bandmate Jesy Nelson was dubbed a “horrible person.”

The account also appeared to suggest that NoHun should create a video on Jesy ‘blackfishing’ – a term that refers to someone who is pretending to be black or mixed-race – in her music video for song Boyz.

NoHun shared a screengrab of the text message chat – of which there is no confirmation that it is legit – and a message from Leigh-Anne claiming Jesy blocked her and Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards on social media.

At the time, NoHun sided with Jesy and released the messages to try and show Leigh-Anne in a bad light.

But now months after the furore, the TIKTOK user has claimed that Jesy ‘manipulated’ him with the help of one of her friends.

In a new Instagram video, which is now circulating on Twitter, NoHun claims that he was “set up” and urged to expose the private messages by Romford native Jesy and her pal.

The social media-savvy personality added that as a result of the backlash that he has since blocked Jesy on Whatsapp and ‘told her what he thought of her’ before cutting ties with the solo singer.

During the lengthy speech, he also added that he has evidence in “voice notes” but isn’t going to release them as his involvement in the drama nearly ended his career.

Addressing the leaked DMs, NoHun told his followers: “I can’t believe I was so blind, I was set up blatantly set up I was set up, I was set up I’m telling ya!”

He went on: “Do you know why? Cos Jesy was messaging me on WhatsApp before it even happened and I’ve got the voice notes on my phone I’ve still got them. I saved them and yeah she was saying ‘what am I going to do Rory, what am I going to do?’ I don’t know she was like emotionally manipulating me in a way.’

Referring to the messages allegedly sent to NoHun from Leigh-Anne, he added: “And then someone else, like a friend of hers, said to be like I think you should put those messages out.

“You’d be showing people that that person in a bully.”

Blasting Jesy and revealing that he has cut ties with the X Factor star, NoHun continued: “I don’t speak to any of them now I blocked Jesy on everything I blocked her and I messaged her and told her what I thought of her. Yeah, I did and I know her, I know her through a friend.”

After a fan messaged and asked him if Jesy has reached out, he added: “She ain’t been in contact cos I blocked her and changed my number. I don’t want her having my number.

“And I have got the voice notes but then I think what good is it going to do putting those voice notes out there now?

“Everyone is just going to think, like they thought in the first place, that I was doing it for attention and doing it to be famous, get 15 minutes of fame.

“I was already doing well before all of that! Why would I do something that would put me in a bad situation?

“It didn’t help my career it nearly f***ing ruined it! I didn’t but it really could have. Thankfully never but it could have. Do you know what I mean? So I’m not gonna bother.”

The Mirror has contacted reps for Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock for comment.

In early October, NoHun asked fans if he should perform a routine to Jesy’s debut solo track days after the song was released.

He then made headlines after showing images of messages from an account that is supposed to be Leigh-Anne’s replying with a “no” before he asked the hitmaker: “Omg Leigh Anne I thought you were all ok.”

Taken aback he added: “Wtf.”

Leigh-Anne’s account then offered a content idea to NoHun by writing: “Do a video about her being a black fish instead.”

NoHun replied: “I’m low-key hurt” before Leigh-Anne claimed that Jesy was responsible for the strained relationship with her ex bandmates.

The new mum penned: “She blocked us. Cut us off. Horrible person.”

Afterwards, NoHun uploaded video on TikTok slamming Leigh-Anne for trying to get him to do her “dirty work.”

He told his followers: “I don’t think it is very appropriate that a member Little mix singer should message me after I posted a video of dancing to the new Jesy Nelson song saying I should make a video about her black fishing.

“Instead, you want me to make content that will insight hatred and bullying to someone who has been open about how online trolling has affected their mental health and made them suicidal.”

The content creator called on Leigh-Anne to speak out herself as he added: “If you are that concerned about it – rather than being shady and trying to get other people to do your dirty work – why don’t you speak out on it yourself? You’ve made a documentary about it why don’t you speak out what’s this compared to a documentary what’s this?

“It doesn’t make any sense to me because you won’t speak out on it because that will affect your opportunities your brand deals, movies, music career but you don’t mind me taking the fall and affecting my opportunities.”

Sharing how the messages upset him, he went on: “She caused me f*cking distress, I was up to 7am crying I’ve been up all night. I’ve been a little mix fan my whole life and you just ruined my experience for me it feels like it’s all been a lie.”

Jesy came under fire on social media following the release of music video for her debut solo single as she was accused of blackfishing.

The song – titled Boyz – features American rapper Nikki Minaj and P Diddy even makes a cameo in the video which oozes nostalgia due to the early 2000s aesthetic.

However, viewers watching the highly-anticipated video were less than impressed to see Jesy sporting a deep tan in the footage as well as braided hair and took to social media to blast the white British singer – who hails from Essex – for cultural appropriation.

Jesy later responded to the backlash saying that she is “aware she is a white British woman”.

The Essex-born singer told Vulture in an interview: “I’m very aware that I’m a white British woman; I’ve never said that I wasn’t.

“But I mean, like, I love Black culture. I love Black music. That’s all I know; it’s what I grew up on.”

Questioned about claims suggested that some of her Instagram followers had been blocked after accusing her of blackfishing, she suggested that it may have been a member of her team who had done it on her behalf.

After the interview, Jesy’s management told the publication that the comments had been deleted and users blocked by her team.

She said in a statement: “I know comments relating to this had previously been deleted from my IG account, I only found out afterwards that a member of my management team had deleted comments.

“I’ve spent years being bullied online, so I limit the amount I go on socials. My management team have access to my account & they were trying to protect me & my mental health.”

The star quit Little Mix last December, saying it was necessary to protect her mental health.

“I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard,” she told fans at the time.

She has since taken swipes at life in a girl band in several interviews given since her exit.
