Usher found himself, ahem, caught up in a whole load of drama this week after claims he was spraying fake bucks on strippers.

The singer’s recent visit to a Las Vegas strip club made headlines for all the wrong reasons after some of the dancers took to social media to share pictures of the fake money that had been left behind.

Social media users had a field day with the images of the fake cash – which even had the R&B star’s face and name emblazoned on the paper.

But did the hitmaker really fail to pay real money during his visit? Here’s the truth about the situation.

Did Usher use fake bucks to pay Las Vegas stripper?

Despite what has been claimed, Usher’s reps have stated that this is all one big misunderstanding.

They claim the superstar singer did use real money during his visit, however one of his friends had used some left over prop money – which had been made as a joke.

Sources close to the singer have informed TMZ that he did leave a real tip, and also tipped the Sapphire strip club establishment ‘quite generously’.

The drama began when Instagram user @beel0ove, a dancer at the club, posted a picture of the fake money and asked: ‘Ladies what would you do if you danced all night for usher and he threw this??’

As fans went wild over the notion Usher would fail to spend actual cash, the singer’s camp were quick to release their side of the story.

According to TMZ, Usher and his crew actually spent thousands of dollars at the Nevada strip club and even paid for bottle service.

For those who don’t know, Usher is one of the most successful singer in the biz.

Indeed, the multi-award winning singer-songwriter and performer cemented his place in music history with a host of iconic tracks and incredible performances.

September 2020 saw the singer confirm his Vegas residency would kick off from July 2021.

the star will perform on dates in July and December 2021, while he is also set to get the party started with a gig on January 1, 2022.

The Confessions hitmaker will perform at Caesars Palace Colosseum and promised he will perform all his best-known hits, which include Yeah, Burn and Love In This Club.

The show is described as ‘an intimate, immersive, one-of-a-kind, ultimate experience’ so that should be a fun night out!
