NHS chief: ‘We’re back in the eye of the storm’ – video

While visiting a vaccination centre in Sutton,south west London, Simon Stevens said health workers are back ‘in the eye of the storm’, as official figures for England said more people are in hospital with Covid-19 now than at the peak of the first wave. The head of the NHS said the vaccination centres offered the ‘biggest ray of hope for the year ahead’, adding that the most vulnerable people should all have had their vaccinations by the spring
