Naomi Campbell made quite a bold statement at her Fashion For Relief gala last night, wearing a dress with blood pouring out of a bullethole.

The 49-year-old supermodel hosted her annual charity event during London Fashion Week on Saturday night, with the aim of raising money for the Mayor’s Fund for London and Unicef.

Some of the biggest names in fashion and showbiz attended or walked the runway, from Stella Maxwell to Leomie Anderson, but none made as big a statement as the hostess herself.

Naomi modelled an array of outfits on the runway but one dress in particular featured what appeared to be a gunshot wound with blood streaming out onto her white dress.

YouTube vlogger and influencer Patricia Bright, who hung out with Naomi at the party, revealed the supermodel’s runway show was filled with political and social messages.

Alongside a video of Naomi wearing the dress backstage, she wrote: ‘Also notice her dress (a gun shot wound) there was so many underlying messages in the show and clothing even to the last minute how amazing [sic].’

Many luxury designers lent their creations to this year’s Fashion For Relief, such as Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Gucci, Dior, Marc Jacobs and Alexander McQueen, with more than 60 models showcasing their designs on the catwalk.

Naomi, who founded Fashion For Relief in 2005, had earlier walked the red carpet in another striking dress, which was completely sheer with only sequins strategically covering her modesty.

The British model was accompanied by her friend and protege, Adut Akech, who once described Naomi as her ‘other mum’.

Fashion For Relief aims to fight poverty and disadvantaged people around the world and has raised millions in donations over the past 14 years.

The night saw a performance from US rapper Eve while the likes of Pierce Brosnan, Naomie Harris, Maya Jama and Stella Maxwell were in attendance.
