Mum shares ‘secret’ recipe for three-ingredient cheesecake balls

So simple, so delicious (Picture: Chantel Mila)

If you’re keen to make yourself a treat, you don’t need to rush out to buy a load of ingredients.

In fact, you can create something delicious with just three items and minimal effort.

Take note from mum-of-two Chantel Mila, from Melbourne, who has shared her ‘secret’ family recipe for speedy cheesecake balls, which require just Tim Tams, melted chocolate, and cream cheese.

Heads up that if you’re in the UK, you can use Penguin bars instead of Tim Tams, or any chocolate biscuit, really.

All you need to do is crush your chocolate biscuits, mix them with cream cheese, roll into balls, then freeze for half an hour.

Once they’re solid, you can coat the balls in melted chocolate and add any decorations you fancy.

‘These are delicious, so they don’t last long,’ says Chantel.

Method:

  1. Crush your chocolate biscuits into fine crumbs
  2. Mix the biscuit crumbs with the cream cheese in a bowl
  3. Roll the mixture into balls then leave in the freezer for half an hour
  4. Meanwhile, melt your chocolate
  5. Once the balls have set, coat in melted chocolate, decorate however you’d like, then keep in the fridge, ready for snacking

This isn’t the first easy recipe Chantel has shared on TikTok.

She previously won a load of praise for her guide to making chocolate mousse in minutes, which again requires just three ingredients.

Proof you don’t need to put in a load of effort to make something delicious.
