A mum has gone viral on Tiktok after she shared how she easily gets her children to eat their vegetables without even asking them – and parents and dieticians love the idea
If you’re struggling to persuade your children to eat their vegetables, then one mum has a hack for you.
Amy, who goes by the username @adamy on TikTok, shared the easy way she tricks her children into wanting to eat vegetables, and parents are praising her smart thinking.
In a video that has been viewed more than 1.8 million times, Amy says the secret to getting kids to eat the veg, is just to eat it in front of them.
Demonstrating how simple and effective it is, she walks straight over to her son sat on the sofa, with a bell pepper in one hand.

As she casually asks him about the game, she starts eating a piece of pepper and offers him some.
Without making a fuss, he takes a piece and starts eating it.
She repeats this process with her two daughters, who both take a slice of the vegetable too.
Who knew it could be so easy?
Since being posted, the video has been liked more than 185,000 times and has received almost 1,000 likes from people praising the idea.
One person joked: “It’s a scientific fact that food tastes better out of your mum’s hand or off her plate.”
Another wrote: “I’ve never wanted a pepper more in my life.”
