Miles Teller got a rude surprise on Wednesday when he was allegedly attacked by two men and punched in the face in a restaurant bathroom in Maui, Hawaii.
Now, new details have emerged about the attack, which witnesses said was over an unpaid $60,000 bill from the 34-year-old actor’s 2019 wedding.
One of the two attackers appears to be married to a wedding planner who worked for Teller and his 28-year-old model wife Keleigh Sperry, TMZ reported on Sunday.

Although the reported attacker hasn’t been publicly named yet, the outlet says one of the men is married to a planner Keleigh credits in a 2019 Vogue article about the couple’s idyllic Maui wedding.
The couple had two companies working for them, Christie Rose Events, which is based in California, and Unveiled Hawaii, which was operating on Maui.
‘It was important for us to work with Unveiled Hawaii as they’re on the island, and we were too busy to facilitate [certain things],’ Keleigh said at the time.
‘Christie Rose Events really guided us through the process and was very hands on. We are so grateful.’
Representatives for Teller have not yet responded for comment.

Sources close to the alleged attacker and his wedding planner spouse claimed to the TMZ that Teller and his wife hadn’t paid their bills from their 2019 nuptials.
Tre Lovell, the lawyer for the man who allegedly accosted Teller and his spouse, said in a statement, ‘It is my understanding that the altercation was a dispute over money pertaining to the couple’s wedding.
‘We are currently evaluating my clients’ legal claims that may exist surrounding the incident, statements made about the incident and the parties previous business dealings.’
Teller has been vacationing in Maui in recent days with wife Keleigh and their friends Shailene Woodley, 29, and her fiancé Aaron Rodgers, 37.
While TMZ claimed the assault stemmed from an argument over unpaid bills from his wedding, Keleigh took to her social media account to say otherwise.
