Jess Wright married businessman William Lee-Kemp in Spain at the start of the month and her famous sister in law played a special role on the day
Jess Wright tied the knot in Majorca on September 9 and many were wondering if her sister in law, Michelle Keegan, would be in attendance.
The wife of Mark Wright and Jess have been close for years but Michelle was absent from Jess’ hen-do, earlier this year, due to work commitments and worries about the coronavirus jeopardising her filming schedule.
However, Brassic star Michelle made sure she was by Jess’ side on her big day as she married businessman William Lee-Kemp and fulfilled her role as one of the bridesmaids.
Joining Michelle was eleven other bridesmaids – including Jess’s younger sister Natalya, and her two other sisters-in-law: Hollie Kane Wright and the groom’s sister Holly Lee-Kemp.
Jess’ brother Mark was given the role of master of ceremonies and the former TOWIE beauty was walked down the aisle by her father, Mark Wright, sr.
Speaking on how Jess wanted all her family involved in her big day, she told Hello! magazine : “I didn’t want to leave anyone out.
“To have my sister, cousins, sisters-in-law and best friends by my side only made the day more special.”
Michelle is yet to post any snaps on social media from the wedding celebrations and photos that have been shared by blushing bride Jess haven’t feature Michelle.
In August, reports claimed that Jess was “gutted” that her famous sister-in-law Michelle was absent from the special hen bash.
According to an insider, Michelle’s work commitments meant she had to decline an invite to the weekend away in Ibiza.
A source said that Michelle was aware that it was risky for her job so planned something back in the UK to mark the special occasion for Jess.
“They’re all gutted Michelle couldn’t be there and Michelle will be, too. But she has to put her career first and she can’t take any risks, particularly while working on a set with other actors,” the source explained to new! magazine.
“She’ll more than makeup for it when Jess is back. They’re really close so Michelle will find a way to make Jess feel special.”
Jess and William’s wedding was held at Basilica de Sant Francesc in Palma, Spain, followed by a banquet at a castle.
The stunning bride entered the church to the song I’m Kissing You by Des’ree from Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet and wowed in a gorgeous designer gown – which was one of three for the day.
