Michael Cuisance has opened up on his failed move to Leeds by insisting there was nothing wrong with his medical. The former Bayern Munich was expected to become Leeds’ seventh signing of the summer after Leeds struck an agreement with the Bundesliga giants.
He had already said his goodbyes to his Bayern team-mates as he wanted to find regular first-team football.
Leeds had an offer of £20million accepted by Bayern, which also reportedly included a buy-back clause.
The deal looked as straight forward as any with Cuisance flying out of Munich on Wednesday to undergo his medical.
But the move was completely scrapped with The Athletic reporting the medical assessment had discovered an issue with one of Cuisance’s feet.
