MCDONALD’S fans have hit out after it failed to bring back breakfast favourites and vegetarian options as part of its latest menu shake-up.
The burger giant revealed it was introducing five new items, including a spicy quarter pounder and McChicken BLT earlier this week.
But some Maccies customers were quick to point that classic menu items are still unavailable – including its breakfast wrap, bagels, veggie dippers, and veggie deluxe.
The fast food chain hasn’t sold bagels or wraps as part of its breakfast range since reopening – in fact, it didn’t serve breakfast at all during its initial comeback.
It now serves fan favourites such as McMuffins and bacon rolls once again in a boost for brekkie lovers.

Taking to Twitter, one McDonald’s customer said: “If the breakfast wrap isn’t back soon I will take my business elsewhere.”
Another added: “I just want to know when you are bringing back the breakfast wrap, please and thank you!”
A third said: “Why is McDonald’s not bringing back breakfast wraps and bagels to their menus?”
Complaining about the lack of vegetarian options, one person said: “Seriously McDonald’s. No veggie burger option?
“There’s even a picture of it at the top of the veggie menu. I know you’re under pressure but shame on you, veggies need a treat too.”
A second customer tweeted: “Put vegetarian options back on the menu or else.”
A third said: “You have one vegetarian option and you aren’t selling this! Great job.”
McDonald’s has previously apologised for the removal of its vegetarian options but there’s been no word on when they’ll make a return.
The fast-food chain has slowly been expanding its reduced menu, including bringing back apple pies and milkshakes.
Other fan favourites it’s reintroduced include its millionaire’s doughnut and Chicken Legend selection.
The Sun has contacted McDonald’s for comment and we’ll update this story when we get a response.
Back in May, the fast food chain sent an email to customers to explain that some of its menu items might be challenging for its workers to make while maintaining social distancing in the kitchen.
