With Covid running rampant across NSW, Lauren Huntriss has come up with a creative albeit questionable way to keep the virus out of her home.

In a series of video posts on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, the 33-year-old Married At First Sight star revealed she had taken to burning sage.

‘Time to sage the VID (CoVID),’ Lauren captioned a video of herself lighting a large smudge stick, with smoke emanating from the top of it.

A second video showed Lauren walking around her living room while waving the sage smudge stick through the air.

‘Cleansing my space of negative energy and inviting healing and positive energies only,’ she wrote.

Despite Lauren’s hopeful attempt to keep Covid out of her home using sage, there is no evidence to suggest this actually works.

In a post of Instagram on Christmas Eve, Lauren said she was focusing on self-love in an open letter addressed to herself.

‘Dear self, today, and for the rest of my days I choose to love you, to cherish you, and to accept you, just the way you are. Love, me,’ she wrote.
