Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan tour their new home

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are almost ready to move into their plush Essex mansion.

The stars have given fans a tour of their £1.3million mansion as it finally nears completion.

After first starting work on the property from scratch in 2020, the married couple have been hit with multiple delays – as the ongoing pandemic halted construction work over the course of last year.

It seems that all their hard work is finally paying off though, with the pair taking to their joint Instagram account to give followers a glimpse of what will be their new marital home earlier this week.

Posted to wrightyhome, which has been documenting the renovation progress, 34-year-old Mark greets the cameras by opening the door of their lavish Essex property.

Waiting indoors for him is wife Michelle, 34, who joins her husband as they walk through the huge entrance hall.

Viewers then get to see what could possibly become the couple’s main living room, before revealing an amazing bar area.

Former TOWIE star Mark gets to grips with being a bar man, pulling a pint in what is sure to be a much-used room for parties and gatherings.

Upstairs, the property boasts a stunning master bedroom, with a large balcony overlooking breathtaking views of the Essex countryside.

Mark and the former Coronation Street actress have been building their dream home from scratch since buying the original property back in October 2019.

At the start of 2020, the couple revealed that they were demolishing the £1.3 million farmhouse they purchased in October 2019 in order to rebuild a brand new vision.

Back in October, the couple – who have been married since 2015 – were in the middle of picking paint colours for their new abode, according to Heart Radio presenter Mark.

The TV personality also asked the couple’s fans for advice on the best fitted wardrobes ahead of applying the “finishing touches” to their brand new gaff.

“Getting to the finishing stages of the house and we are starting to look at fitted wardrobes,” the star captioned multiple pictures of clothing rails and wardrobes on their Instagram account.

Construction of the property has been a labour of love for the couple

“We need some help with ideas, what one do you like most 1-5?”

While Mark appears to have taken the lead on the build of the property, it appears Brassic actress Michelle will be the one taking control of the interior design.

Mark told Entertainment Daily previously that although the pair have “a similar sense of style”, the Brassic star will be the one who gets the final say when adding the finishing touches.

“I’d rather it that way because then I don’t get blamed if anything goes wrong!” he joked.
