Marcus Rashford pens emotional letter to Man Utd fans after confirming surgery decision

“In hindsight, if I had known I wouldn’t have played a significant role in the Euros, would I have gone? Hindsight is a wonderful thing isn’t it.

“We live and learn, as they say, but what is never in doubt is my commitment to the club and the national team.”

Thankfully for United, Rashford’s injury layoff has come at a convenient time given the signing of winger Jadon Sancho.

The club are particularly well-stocked in attack, with the likes of Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood and Daniel James all set to be vying for minutes in Rashford’s absence.
