Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford has responded to accusations that he has a “bad attitude” – and been told he should reach out to Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani for advice.

Rashford has struggled for form in recent weeks and has now failed to score in 11 games, with some fans questioning his attitude.

The United star has now responded to those claims, and has been told how he should pull himself out of his slump by former Red Devils striker Dimitar Berbatov.

It comes following reports that interim boss Ralf Rangnick may be ready to make his first signing at Old Trafford, but three unhappy stars are reportedly holding up he deal.

Rangnick signing being prevented

Ralf Rangnick’s first signing at Manchester United is reportedly being held up by three wantaway stars.

The United interim boss reportedly wants to bring in a defensive midfielder to Old Trafford during this month’s January transfer window and is said to have targeted Borussia Monchengladbach’s Swiss enforcer Denis Zakaria.

But the uncertain futures of Paul Pogba, Donny van de Beek and Jesse Lingard are currently preventing the transfer from being completed.

Rashford breaks silence

Marcus Rashford has hit back at claims he has had a “bad attitude” in recent weeks and insisted there is no way his commitment should be questioned.

Rashford was vilified on social media by fans following the 1-0 FA Cup win over Aston Villa, while his attitude was also questioned by former United assistant Steve McLaren.

The ex-England manager said Rashford is “deterred too easily and doesn’t fight through bad moments”.

But Rashford has emphatically hit back at those accusations, arguing that he cares about the club too much.

Rashford given Ronaldo advice

Marcus Rashford should turn to senior United players Edinson Cavani and Cristiano Ronaldo in an effort to address his poor form, according to Dimitar Berbatov.

Rashford spent much of the start of the season sidelined following shoulder surgery but has struggled to get up-and-running following that treatment and has been targeted by angry fans following United’s struggles on the pitch this season.

But Berbatov has now offered his advice to the United forward, and says he should speak to some of the “incredible people at the club”.
