Manchester United remain interested in signing Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

The forward was the subject of several bids from the Red Devils last year but they could not agree a deal with the German side.

Now though Sancho’s camp are more confident than ever that they can finally seal a move back to Manchester.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side look set to seal a second place finish this season and the club will be looking to continue their progression.

The United boss has several positions he wants to strengthen in the coming months, with a wide forward among them.

Sancho camp ‘more confident’ about switch

Jadon Sancho’s team are confident that they can secure a move to United, reports Eurosport .

The Red Devils tried to sign the Borussia Dortmund winger last summer but were unable to get the deal over the line.

But those close to him are now more optimistic than ever that the Englishman will secure a move back to Manchester.

United are looking to add a wide forward this summer and Sancho perfectly suits the profile of player they want.

£26m-rated Arambarri eyed

United are looking to sign Getafe star Mauro Arambarri, according to AS .

The Uruguay international is seen as the perfect foil for Bruno Fernandes, who continues to pull the strings in attack.

Arambarri’s contract with Getafe expires in 2023 so United will be unable to sign him on the cheap.

The La Liga club are looking for an offer of around £26m before they consider selling.

Lingard as Sancho bait

Jesse Lingard could be used as part of United’s Sancho deal this summer, reports The Sun.

The midfielder has resurrected his career at West Ham having struggled for minutes at Old Trafford.

Lingard’s hefty wages may price the Hammers out of a permanent deal despite their desire to keep him.

Dortmund have kept tabs on the United loanee during his time in east London.
