Tottenham star faces axe
Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier will be put up for sale this summer unless he commits his future to the north Londoners.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy had to sanction a cut-price deal for Christian Eriksen last month, rather than lose the Dane on a free transfer at the end of the season.
He’s eager to avoid a repeat of that situation with Dier, who’s holding out on signing a new contract because of a lack of game time under Jose Mourinho.
The Daily Mail report Dier will be transfer listed if he doesn’t put pen to paper, with Levy eager to bring in a sizeable fee while he still can.
Juventus plot Chelsea raid
Chelsea winger Willian is being lined up for a move to Juventus by his former Stamford Bridge boss Maurizio Sarri.
Express Sport understands the Brazilian and the Blues are in the midst of a contract stand-off with the club only offering him a one-year extension.
Willian is holding out for two years and could leave west London on a free transfer when his deal expires this summer.
Juventus are now rivalling Barcelona for the former Shakhtar Donetsk star, who’s enjoyed a trophy-laden spell at Chelsea.
Man Utd expect Barcelona transfer
Manchester United have run the rule over Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez but expect the striker to end up at Barcelona instead this summer.
The Red Devils want a permanent forward recruit this summer having loaned in Odion Ighalo from Shanghai Shenhua in a drastic bid to boost their injury-hit squad last month.
Martinez has emerged as an option having shone over in Italy, where he’s playing alongside former United striker Romelu Lukaku.
The Daily Star report, however, that United believe he’ll be offer to Barcelona and are therefore set to ramp up their interest in Lyon’s Moussa Dembele.
Liverpool’s Jadon Sancho hope
Liverpool are optimistic about their chances of signing Jadon Sancho because of Jurgen Klopp’s relationship with the winger’s club, Borussia Dortmund.
Klopp won two Bundesliga titles as Dortmund manager and left Signal Iduna Park before later taking the reins at Anfield in October 2015.
Liverpool are now plotting a raid on his old side for Sancho, who would offer stellar competition for all-star front three Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
The Daily Mail report the Reds hope Klopp being on good terms with Dortmund will help them beat the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid to securing the Englishman’s signature.
Arsenal want Tottenham target
Godfrey has been one of the few shining lights for Norwich this season, with Daniel Farke’s side rooted to the bottom of the Premier League and looking set for an immediate return to the Championship.
His impressive form has earned him a £50m price tag and he could still be playing top-flight football next year if Arsenal get their way.
Express Sport understands, however, that the Gunners are likely to fend off Tottenham, with Jose Mourinho and co. liking the look of the former York man.
