Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho sparked an intense rivalry when the latter took over at Real Madrid in 2010 while the former was coaching at Barcelona.
Their feud lasted for two years until Guardiola decided to leave Barca but it all rekindled in 2016 when he was hired by Manchester City at a time when Mourinho got the top job at rivals Manchester United.
The two legends have faced off a total of 24 times across all competitions with the City boss just leading with 11 wins compared to the Portuguese gaffer’s seven victories.
After winning just three of his first 17 matches against Guardiola in all competitions, Mourinho has won four of his last seven, losing twice in the process.
The ex-Chelsea and United boss may be feeling confident about adding to his collection today as Tottenham have won both of their Premier League outings against City since the Special One took over, however those matches took place in north London
