Ludwig challenges Dr Disrespect to $1 million 1v1 duel to find the ‘better gamer’

The feud between YouTube streamers Dr Disrespect and Ludwig has just gone up a level, but it’s unclear if the match will actually happen.

The so-called feud between Ludwig and Dr Disrespect didn’t seem very serious at first but it definitely is now, as Ludwig has bet $1 million that he can beat Dr Disrespect in a 1v1 match.

Dr Disrespect has recently been taunting Ludwig for his height and gaming prowess, while purposefully getting his name wrong and mocking him for missing out on some recent award for which he was nominated.

Ludwig’s response has been to challenge Dr Disrespect to a $1 million 1v1 match, but so far Dr Disrespect hasn’t responded and it’s not clear what game they’d be playing if he does.

The obvious contender, as acknowledged by Ludwig, is Call Of Duty: Warzone, which is one of Dr Disrespect’s main games and is about to switch to using a new map – which means, in theory, neither will have too much of an advantage.

Ludwig isn’t so sure though, given how much Dr Disrespect plays the game in general, and on a later stream claimed that he wasn’t being serious about betting $1 million.

He claimed that he said $1 million in the same way that Dr Disrespect knowingly exaggerates his viewer numbers into the tens of millions.

‘It’s a Dr Disrespect $1 million, said Ludwig on his stream. ‘Saying $1 million to the Doc means like $1K instead, by his metrics. And he won’t even reply. Everybody relax!’

As of time of writing, Dr Disrespect still hasn’t commented on the situation, but that’s unlikely to last. Especially as he’ll be viewed as having the advantage and Ludwig’s home turf is Super Smash Bros. – which Dr Disrespect has never been known to play.

Dr Disrespect has already been bragging recently anyway, arguing that the reason so many Twitch stars – including Ludwig – have been joining YouTube lately is because he made it more popular for streamers.
