Love Island star Liberty Poole has been on her first night out post-villa life, after departing the show just days before the final when she split with Jake Cornish.

But the reality star, 21, appeared in high spirits as she headed to see Years & Years at Capital Up Close presents Years & Years with Barclaycard in London.

The Nando’s Waitress stunned in a chic all-black ensemble, featuring a crop top and trousers with strappy detailing on the hips.

She accessorised with a bucket hat – the must-have fashion item of recent months – and a black clutch.

Liberty took to Instagram to show her 1.4million followers she is well and truly over the Love Island drama and wants to let her hair down.

She enjoyed drinks with friends in a reserved seating area before hanging with Years & Years frontman himself, Olly Alexander, who actually invited the Love Islander to the event.

‘Thanks for the invite, so excited to be here,’ Liberty wrote on her story, accompanied by a silly selfie with the It’s a Sin actor, 31, as the pair pulled tongues.

She later posted videos from the concert, praising Olly’s ‘unreal’ voice.

The Capital event was not only Liberty’s first chance at easing herself back into normal life, but it was also a big night out for Olly.

The show was Olly’s first live performance since Covid restrictions lifted and since the announcement of Years & Years’ solo project.

Speaking at the gig, the If You’re Over Me hitmaker said he was ‘overwhelmed’ as he struggled to find words to describe the feeling of playing for a live crowd again

‘This is so crazy, this is crazy. I’m so happy to see all of you,’ he gushed.

He continued: ‘I know everyone’s had a strange couple of years, 18 months, and this feels like a dream. I’m just so happy to be able to do this again.’
