Love Island winners Paige and Finn argue on Christmas tree shopping trip

Christmas has come early for Love Island winners Paige Turley and Finn Tapp.

Halloween may not even be taking place for another month yet but this cute couple are already prepping for the festive period.

And after the drudgery of 2020 so far, can anyone blame them for wanting a bit of seasonal sparkle in their lives?

Finn captured the Christmas tree shopping on Instagram

Reality TV’s finest were out and about in the shops on Monday afternoon, hunting for the perfect Christmas tree to take pride of place in the stunning Manchester flat they’ve been living in for the past few months.

And the pair were as full of the banter as always as they bickered on whether to get the real deal, or a glitzy fake model.

Former footballer Finn was up for going all out and wants a proper tree for his home to get the season started in a traditional way, while Paige was more inclined to get something easier to look after, that will last the loved-up duo a few years.

Finn used his Instastories to ask fans for a bit of help on the big decision, saying: “Right Paige has got the hump because she wants a fake Christmas tree and I told her we’re getting a real one, she’s not happy.”

Finn asked fans to help them choose

Paige can then be seen stomping up behind him in comedy scenes as she says: “We’re not getting a real tree.”

The Scot then points to a fake tree nearby and goes on: “Look how fluffy it is, look how nice it is, it will last us years, your real tree is going to die in two weeks. Our flat is warm.”

Finn then asks followers: “Right so guys, are we getting a real tree or a fake tree?”

Yesterday we reported the pair had fans on TikTok in hysterics after sharing a video of the pair comparing English and Scottish accents.

Finn captioned the video: “The daily struggle! English phrases vs Scottish phrases.”

The footage sees the pair comparing everyday phrases such as “That’s a tune”, “Gonnae no dae that”, and “dooking for apples”.

The clip divided fans with one writing: “Yass mon the Scotland.”

And another said: “Am with Paige in these answers”.

Some, however, sided with Finn stating: “English accent all the way!”
