Love Island Anton says it's 'good' Dubai clearing out partygoers while he stays

Love Island’sAnton Danyluk says its ‘really good’ that the party people who were in Dubai for the ‘wrong reasons’ have gone home while the ‘real people’ like him have stayed.

On his second episode of the What The Crack podcast entitled Daily Dose of Daftness, Anton’s mum Sherie Ann asked how her son was getting on in Dubai where he is setting up a new business.

West Lothian’s Anton, 26, tells her: “The business side, everything is going well and everything is going to plan. That should be up and running within the next few weeks or so. There’s just another couple of legal requirements, bank accounts and that sort of thing. We want to just make sure everything is right before we open.”

He then tells her: ‘However there was a little bit of a step back in Dubai this week. They’ve upped restrictions so bars are now going to be closing at one pm. It doesn’t affect me anyway because I’ve not been going out as you know.

“They’ve taken out all live entertainment, so there’s no music when people go out, so I think a lot of people have actually left and went back to the UK, which is really good, because I think the people that were here just to party and were here maybe for the wrong reasons now have to go home.”

“So I think we’re getting a clear out of who the real people were to work and stay here, and who the ones were just coming out for a good time, so that’s kind of nice.”

Pulling him up for his comments which sounded a tad judgemental, Sherie Ann then interjects: “At the end of the day Anton who are we to judge who comes out to stay, to work and party or whatever?”

And Anton quickly says: “Oh I would never judge. It’s not me that’s judging. I’m just stating facts here. I would never judge anyone. It’s not in my nature to judge anyone.”

Sherie Ann adds: “Oh you’re stating fact son?”

Anton who says he is training for an upcoming event by going to the gym twice a day in Dubai is then asked by his mum why he doesn’t put up workouts from Dubai.

He replies: “I’m just very conscious at the minute of posting things on Instagram about me working out especially in gyms because I’m aware people back home don’t have that but then I realise I do have an international following as well and there is some places they can exercise in gyms.”

“I’d like to put out some bodyweight and home workouts for people to help them get through this time. With regards to Dubai they’ve made a three metres distance apart in gyms and shut off some of the machines in the gym but I’m still very very grateful the gyms are still open and I can go.”
