Loose Women's Stacey Solomon announces mental health break from social media

Stacey Solomon has announced that she will take a break from social media after suffering with anxiety.

The Loose Women panelist told her 4.4 million followers on Instagram that she had been struggling throughout the week, saying that she was feeling ‘so strange.’

31-year-old Stacey decided to step back from social media for a few days in order to spend time with her family and help with her mental health.

She also took the time to thank her fans, saying they are the ‘sweetest people.’

In a post which included a picture of her lush garden, Stacey shared with her fans on Saturday. She said: “Goodnight… I hope you’re all ok. I feel so strange still.

“I’m going to put my phone in the drawer for a couple of days give you all a break…

“I hope you have a lovely Sunday and Monday. You deserve all the happiness in the world. Never forget it.”

She ended the message by saying: “Love you to the moon and back…,”

Stacey, who also made it to the finals of the X Factor, made a brief return to the social media platform to share some of the warm responses she had received from fans.

“Was about to write in my brain junk bin in my book. And then started reading your messages and decided to fill my page up with your loveliness,” she wrote.

“Despite what some may lead you to believe… most people are inherently kind.”

One message read: “Get some well earned rest and hope you feel better real soon, it’s horrible feeling pants and you can’t work out why! Have a lovely few days.”

A second said: “Have a fab time with your family. Will miss you though.”

A third told her: “Noooo stacey don’t leave us have a lovely couple of days hope your ok we love you.”

Whilst a fourth posted: “Rest up, brain dump, be kind to yourself… we will be here for you when you are ready.”
