Live: Ukraine's Severodonetsk 'fully occupied' by Russian forces

The eastern Ukrainian city of Severodonetsk was “fully occupied” by the Russian army, its mayor said on Saturday, after weeks of fighting. “The city has been fully occupied by the Russians,” Oleksandr Striuk said, a day after the Ukrainian army said it would withdraw its forces to better defend the neighbouring city of Lysychansk. Follow our live updates for all the latest developments.
