LITTLE Mix’s Jade Thirlwall had The Search fans howling last night as she impersonated Louis Walsh.
It only took a matter of minutes for the fun-loving singer to mimic The X Factor favourite on the launch of girls’ new BBC programme.
After bubbly contestant Rosie performed in front of the quartet, Jade adopted an Irish accent and told her: “You look like a star, you sound like a star, you are a star.”
Her bandmates knew it was coming, but that didn’t stop them creasing with laughter on the pink judging sofa.
There were no shortage of comments from viewers with one writing on Twitter: “Jade is just iconic tbh.”
Another commented: “You are the best.”
A third joked: “if singing don’t work out jade, go into the impression business.”
Little Mix won the X Factor in 2011 and have gone on to amass a fortune of nearly £30million.
Despite their huge success, Louis has been accused of taking subtle swipes at the group over the years.
On last year’s X Factor: Celebrity, Louis told vloggers V5 they were the girl band the world needed, seemingly forgetting Little Mix’s popularity.
And years earlier he praised his group Four Of Diamonds for singing live, saying: “We’ve finally got a girl group where everybody sings – we haven’t had that in a long time.”
Little Mix performed on the show weeks earlier and fans couldn’t help but see it as a dig at them.
Meanwhile The Search got off to successful start with millions tuning in to watch the girls hunt for a new pop group.
Some fans claimed the Little Mix ladies, who are all in relationships, were flirting heavily with the male contestants.
Although others pointed out it was two-way traffic, with many of the lads making flirtatious comments.
