LISA Snowdon has revealed the bizarre gold leaf face mask that keeps her looking youthful.
The model, 46, showed off the “completely decadent” facial to her 196,000 followers on Instagram.
Lisa called the costly procedure “luxurious” and said it helps “support the skins collagen, resulting in glowing, healthy, plumper skin, improves circulation”.
She wrote on social media: “Living my life likes it GOLDEN!
“Had the most luxurious golden skin renewal facial yesterday.
“I was literally wrapped in pure 24K Gold Leaf which was applied in three stages.”
She had the 24-carat treatment – which reportedly costs £160 for a 50ml bottle – applied to her cheeks, nose, lips and chin.
Lisa added: “You know I’m all about the glow, this facial takes it to another level.”
Lisa, who has been modelling since she was 19, is known for trying different treatments and recently revealed she also undergoes facial acupuncture to maintain her looks.
Taking to Instagram again, the star shared painful-looking snaps of her face covered in 200 needles, as she attempted to reverse the effects of a booze-fuelled holiday.
She wrote: “I so needed this.. And yes they are everywhere! Don’t be freaked out, this is a much needed MOT for my body mind and soul.
“I’ve been jet-lagged… I drank my body weight( which is quite a lot these days! ) in tequila , vodka and rosè, I’ve had A LOT of fun but it’s all about balance.”
Lisa jets all over the world for her modelling commitments, having first been signed at the age of 19
Explaining the benefits, which include lifting and toning muscles in the face, Lisa assured fans the procedure was completely pain free.
She added: “For those who ask if it hurts, it really doesn’t- i honestly wouldn’t keep going back and paying for a treatment that hurts, it’s actually so relaxing it’s like the body just goes ahhhhhhh when the first needles goes in.
“Sarah also uses LED lights on my tummy to help soothe my digestive and adds the lights to my face once all the needles are in and also does a reflexology treatment with her healing hands. It’s a proper treat for the whole body.”
