Bank holidays are perfect for a BBQ in the sun – but mean you’ll need to stock up your fridge.

Or perhaps the extra day off is ideal for getting your food shop done before the work week starts again.

Whatever the case, it’s good to know if your local shop is open for business over the bank holiday weekend before you visit.

If you’re due to a trip to Lidl, here are the bank holiday opening times.

When are Lidl’s opening times on May bank holiday weekend?

Luckily, most Lidl supermarkets are open throughout the bank holiday weekend.

On Saturday, May 29, Lidl will typically open at 8am and close at 9pm.

On bank holiday Sunday, May 30, most Lidl shops will be open at the later time of 10am, closing earlier at 4pm.

While bank holiday Monday, May 31, sees Lidl open from 8am until 9pm.

These opening dates apply to most shops in England and Wales – so keep an eye out for your local store’s opening times to be on the safe side.
