Kim Kardashian has been accused many times over the years of having cosmetic enhancements to her body.
The 39-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has faced the accusation that her internet breaking backside is not real with many taking her to task about it on social media.
Despite the constant claims that the reality star is ‘fake’, Kim has actually addressed the rumours surrounding her butt and has said that it is all due to something far more innocent.
Kim has recently claimed that there are many in Hollywood that have turned to the surgeon’s knife to keep them looking youthful, which in turn has seen many call her out for doing exactly that.
In the issue of Paper magazine which contained the photos of the her spraying champagne from her backside, over her head and into a glass, Kim hinted that she had been researching who was the best to turn to when it came to cosmetic surgery.
She told the publication: “People call me all the time, like really famous people, out of the blue and are like, ‘I know we don’t know each other, but I’ve heard you’re the expert and I’m looking to do x, y, and z. Who would you recommend?’
“And I’ll be like, ‘Actually, I’ve just researched this!'”
Of course, this prompted many to believe that she had fillers but it would seem that has addressed this rumour some time beforehand.
In an episode of her reality show, KUWTK, she even had a doctor appear to dispel the idea that she had faked it with her famous derriere.
During the episode, Kim spoke about when she thought that the rumour began and why, as well as giving her truth as to why her bum is as it is.
She said: “There is a picture of me in Miami wearing an electric blue dress, and another picture of me walking down Robertson. You see the indent. And I think that’s when the rumors started: ‘She’s had implants.'”
Kim continued to say that it was all down to treatment she was receiving for her psoriasis, which she has suffered with since childhood.
She said: “I went to go get a cortisone shot in my butt. I lived right behind Kitson [a Los Angeles based boutique}.
“One of my neighbours was a dermatologist at Cedars.
“I go in there and he’s like, ‘There’s a one in a billion chance that you will get a huge indent in your butt.’
“Of course, I get a huge indent on my butt.”
Kim also said that she has to have this injection every few years to keep her psoriasis at bay and it is during the aftermath of these treatments that the rumours start swirling again.
