Kier Group axes 1,200 jobs as the troubled construction firm needs to save £55m


CONSTRUCTION firm Kier has announced that it will cut 1,200 jobs to help save the struggling firm £55million a year.

The company will sell its homebuilding business, Kier Living, as well as close down recycling and rubbish processing units, according to the BBC.
