Katie Price is believed to be fighting to keep her TV career alive after it was revealed she took drugs following a marriage breakdown.
The shocking revelations came out after her other ex-husband, Peter Andre, asked her to take a drugs test.
It’s rumoured Katie hopes her new digital reality show Katie Price: My Crazy Life, on Quest Red, will keep her TV ambitions alive.
A source said: “Since Katie’s life started to spiral out of control at the beginning of this year, she hasn’t been on mainstream British TV.
“Her last appearance on Loose Women was in January and she hasn’t been asked back. Her cocaine admission hasn’t gone down well either. It’s not a good look, especially for someone who was a regular feature on ITV.”
Loose Women refused to confirm that Katie, 40, had been dropped and said: “We continue to support her through what has clearly been a difficult time.”
Katie became depressed after the collapse of her five-year marriage to sex-addict Kieran Hayler, who she caught cheating three times.
She began to “self-medicate” after his behaviour and their relationship woes “drove her to the edge”. And we can reveal ex Peter, 45, was “distraught” after finding out that she had taken cocaine.
Their children Princess, 11, and Junior, 13, are now staying with him while Katie focuses on her health.
A source said: “Peter won’t speak to Katie, he is mortified. The kids will stay with him while she gets back to her best.
“He just hopes she can sort herself out for the sake of the kids.”
Last week, Katie posted a message denying her children had been taken away on suspicion of neglect. It followed reports that social services placed two children of a celebrity mother in care.
Mother-of-five Katie took to Instagram in a now-deleted post to say: “I’d like to clarify I’m not the person in the papers today whose kids have been banned or taken away from them.”
Katie has recently been boozing and partying with a series of men – including Essex fitness instructor Kris Boyson, 29, and Brighton footballer Shane Duffy, 26.
She is now in a relationship with Kris and even told him during a boozy morning plane flight that she wanted to have his children.
Katie previously admitted to taking drugs in her four-year marriage to first husband Peter when she was battling postnatal depression. In her 2014 autobiography, she said the singer and reality TV star threatened to leave her when he found out.
Katie’s latest woes began in April, when it emerged she was being taken to an employment tribunal by former nanny Nikki Brown – who ex-stripper Kieran allegedly had an affair with.
And her second husband, former cage fighter Alex Reid, 42, made revenge porn allegations to police.
Katie is also coming to terms with mum Amy’s terminal cancer.
She ended her marriage to Kieran – with whom she has children Jett, three, and Bunny, two – in May.
A month later, she blasted him on social media, accusing him of dating the mum of a pupil at Jett’s school. She claimed the romance had been going on “for months” and suggested her kids recognised the woman, named Michelle.
Katie wrote: “I’m happy for her but he will cheat on her too! I want it amicable and want every parent to know I know they have been together months!”
At the same time, she posted a romantic snap of Kris and called him a “gentleman who puts a smile on my face every day”.
The pair struck up a romance after meeting at an Essex club in May. Twelve days later, they made the relationship public when they travelled to Bruges to celebrate Katie’s 40th birthday.
Meanwhile, Peter has become friendly with Kieran, 31. Peter and Katie met on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity in 2004 and after they split in 2009, he said: “I’m not jealous of anybody until Katie’s drunk. There’s nobody I feel threatened by when she’s sober.
“But if she’s been drinking, she’s capable of anything. The devil gets inside her and she’s a nightmare.”
Peter has two children with his new wife Emily MacDonagh, 28. Katie also has son Harvey, 16, with former footballer Dwight Yorke.
Katie and Peter both declined to comment tonight.
