KATIE Price has revealed how son Harvey left her “exhausted” over Christmas after “destroying the house as much as he could”.
The media personality took to her YouTube chanel to show a behind-the-scenes video of her interview on Good Morning Britain last week.
Katie, 43, took to the ITV chat show to discuss the release of her new book alongside Harvey, 19, as she swerved questions about her drink-drive smash.
Her son – who suffers from a number of complex needs including Prader-Willi Syndrome, autism and blindess – sat beside her during the chat.
The mother-son duo were filmed for Katie’s latest YouTube video as Katie had her make-up done and discusses what she planned to talk about.
Sha gave fans an insight into the Christmas period with Harvey, who lives at National Star college in Cheltenham during term time, at home.
Katie told the camera: “Harvey has destroyed the house as much as he can, pulling food out every day – I’m exhausted, but I love him.”
Following the interview, the former glamour model explained she was preparing to travel to Gloustershire to drop the teen back to residential college.
Having packed the car up with his Christmas presents, she explained that the gifts for Harvey were just “replacements” for things Harvey had smashed up.
“The Christmas presents are just replacemenets for things that are broken, a new computer, new TV and a new keyboard,” Katie listed the items.
Yesterday, we revealed how Katie’s GMB chat was hit by dozens of Ofcom complaints after furious viewers said she “shouldn’t be on” TV.
The broadcasting regulator confirmed there had been “complaints relating to an interview with Katie Price” with 53 people hitting out against the appearance.
Katie and Harvey were seen on the show last Tuesday to discuss her recent court appearance following last year’s drink-drive car crash.
The media personality insisted “people shouldn’t judge her” for rolling her car in a booze and cocaine-fuelled crash – and then escaping jail.
She told viewers she felt “ashamed” about her actions, but isn’t ready to talk about the “traumatic events” that made her get behind the wheel.
Admitting she was lucky to dodge spending Christmas behind bars, Katie said: “Things could have been different.
“The events leading up to it were really traumatic and it’s still been traumatic afterwards, so I’m not ready to talk about it yet.
“What I can say is I went to The Priory and I’ve made the decision finally to see a therapist every week, and will do forever, to deal with the traumatic events that led me up to that car.
“I’m very good at hiding things. When I’m ready to talk about it I will because there are reasons why I got in the car and why I was in that mental state.
“I feel ashamed about it all. It was a traumatic build up to it. The reasons I’m still dealing with now. It’s a new year, but I’m still dealing with it all.”
However, many viewers were left furious that she failed to address the crash and “didn’t want to talk”.
One tweeted: “Imagine getting her in the show to talk about her escape from prison, but she doesn’t want to talk.”
Another added: “Wouldn’t it be nice if we could just have one year without hearing Katie Price on TV! You’re not ready to talk but have agreed an interview.”
A third said: “‘I’m not ready to talk about it now’. That means she’s going to spoon feed the media to get her through 2022.”
