KATIE Price has recorded a song about her bitter split with Kris Boyson which was written in rehab.
Earlier this week The Sun Online revealed how the 42-year-old is back in the recording studio working on her new album, Put Me Back Together.
Katie has been seen singing the lyrics to the album’s title track, with her producer Rick Live hashtagging it ‘Broken’.
Now The Sun Online can reveal one of the songs on her album is about her bitter split from ex-boyfriend Kris.
Rick told us: “Katie had written a song in rehab about her split with Kris – but now she’s ditched it as she has other songs.
“She’s keeping things upbeat and it’ll be more of a dance record.”
Katie split from personal trainer Kris in November last year, just a day after being declared bankrupt and after a stint in rehab.
Since their split, both have moved on to new relationships, with Kris now dating Bianca Gascoigne.
Meanwhile Katie is loved up with new beau Carl Woods, 31, who has been supporting her at the recording studio this week and looking after her since she broke both her feet while on holiday in Turkey a few weeks ago.
Katie has made no secret of her desire to be a credible pop star over the years, and hopes her new album will make her dream a reality.
She has roped in the help of Ed Sheeran’s cousin Jethro, who performs under the name Alonestar and raps on one of her tracks.
The Sun Online also revealed how Katie has recorded a duet with former X Factor winner and friend, Sam Bailey.
The two women have teamed up for two songs, one of which is Don’t Walk Away by American R&B group Jade.
