KATIE Price has decided to stay in Turkey on holiday as she puts kids first despite breaking her feet.
On Thursday, The Sun Online exclusively revealed the 42-year-old former glamour model had fractured both heels jumping off a wall at theme park Land of Legends.
Katie faces months of agony as she battles her way to recovery and was due to fly home to have emergency surgery.
However, the mother-of-five has had a change of heart and has decided to stay in Turkey for the sake of her children, Junior, 15, and Princess, 13.
Katie’s rep told The Mirror: “Katie promised the kids this holiday, and Princess needs it after going through a hard time lately.
“She always puts the kids first, and even though she’s in a tremendous amount of discomfort, she doesn’t want to let the kids down by making them fly home early. She won’t let this slow her down.
“A lot of people thought the kids were being sarcastic in Katie’s video last night when they said they were having the best holiday ever, but they weren’t, they’re genuinely having a brilliant time and Katie doesn’t want to ruin that for them.”
Katie had earlier shared a video from her hotel room with boyfriend Carl Woods, Princess and Junior, with Princess shouting: “I’m actually having the best holiday!”
Doctors have warned Katie she will need pins in her feet and won’t be able to walk for a minimum of three months – though the recovery period could be twice that.
Katie had previously posted a picture of her bandaged feet to Instagram, writing at the time: “Yes it’s true I have broken my ankles and my feet , I have to have both feet operated on and pins put in been told I won’t be able to walk for 3 to 6 months.”
She then heaped praise on her Love Island beau for his support, adding: “@carljwoods is being amazing looking after me ❤️❤️ #reallove #bestgentleman #wordscantdecribemyloveforhim #hismyworld”.
Katie also took to social media asking if anyone knew where she could get a mobility scooter so she could get around on her holiday easier.
