AFTER cousin Amy Duggar spoke out against Josh Duggar amid his child pornography trial, fans are slamming his wife Anna for sticking by his side accusing her of failing “her children.”
On Saturday, Amy, 35, tweeted: “Hmm think about it we put dogs asleep for good if they just bite a child…”
Fans flocked to Reddit to respond, praising Amy for speaking out about her disgraced former reality star cousin.
Others took the opportunity to slam Anna, 33, for not standing with victims and siding with Josh.
One reply read: “Anna can go f**k herself.”
Another commenter wrote: “She disassociated with reality and failed her children. Any human with a shred of integrity would have done more to protect those kids.”
A third responded: “That’s why I’m just as pissed at her parents as I am with her. Their grandkids are around a confessed pedophile and they don’t lift a finger to see if they’re even ok.”
Someone else tweeted: “Her brainwashing and upbringing is an EXPLANATION, not an EXCUSE” while another responder said: “She should protect her children, full stop.”
Anna has been in court with her husband amid the trial.
She was joined by Josh’s younger brother Justin Duggar and his wife Claire, who sat alongside her.
The Sun previously reported that the duo were joined by Claire’s mom Hillary as they sat in the courthouse next to Anna.
They were seated in the front of the courthouse.
The trial has been challenging for Anna.
She fled the courtroom at one point as prosecutors went into detail about Josh’s alleged crimes and the lengths he went to to evade Anna’s security measures.
Anna reportedly put a program on the computer to bar Josh from being able to look at pornography.
He managed to evade it however, as police found many explicit images on his computer.
The trio appeared in high spirits throughout the day, speaking to Josh as he returned for his second day of trial.
Fans previously suggested Anna appeared angry as she left the courthouse.
That came after she was slammed for holding his hand at the trial.
Joy-Anna Duggar’s husband, Austin Forsyth, was also in attendance. He sat in the back, however.
Austin did not speak to anyone throughout the day, but did at one point chat with Jill Duggar’s husband, Derick Dillard.
Josh is accused of possessing explicit images of child pornography. He pleaded not guilty, though authorities claim he had “the worst of the worst” that they had ever seen on his computer.
If found guilty, Josh could face up to 20 years in prison.
Jill and Jedidiah Duggar are expected to testify in the case.
It’s unclear which side they will testify for.
