JoJo Siwa has reportedly broken up with girlfriend Kylie Prew, just weeks after they made their red carpet debut as a couple.

The YouTuber alluded to a difficult week in her personal life on last week’s edition of Dancing With The Stars, and now Us Weekly has reported that the 18-year-old and her girlfriend of 10 months have split.

A source told the publication that the pair split two weeks ago, saying: ‘JoJo and Kylie did break up. Some [Dancing With the Stars] cast are aware about the breakup. Kylie stopped attending the show so she hasn’t been seen in the audience since they split.

‘JoJo is focusing on the competition and giving her all. While it’s a rough time for her, she’s handling DWTS very professionally and still putting on a smile and giving 100 percent. She doesn’t want to let down her fans.’

JoJo went public with Kylie, also 18, back in February, shortly after she came out as part of the LGBTQ+ community, and often shared sweet pictures with her girlfriend to social media.

She celebrated one month with Kylie with an Instagram post reading: ‘After being my best friend for over a year, January 8th 2021 I got to start calling this exceptional human my Girlfriend …

‘And Since then I’ve been the happiest I have ever been! She seriously is the most loving, supportive, happiest, protective, and just the most beautiful perfect person in the world. And I get to call her mine! Happy one month to my girl! I love you more and more everyday! (sic).’

JoJo had credited Kylie, who she had a long-distance relationship with, with encouraging her to publicly come out.

While Kylie was seen supporting her girlfriend at Dancing With The Stars in the early weeks of the competition, JoJo hinted at the split in an Instagram post shared on October 9.

She wrote: ‘This has been a WEEK. My brain has never been so overwhelmed/overloaded with not only work but also personal life.

‘This week of my life has taught me SO much. Live in the moment. Smile however you can. Whatever it takes to be happy, do it. … Even though this week has been one of the hardest in my life for so many different reasons, it’s also been one of the best. I’m thankful for every time I smiled this week and every time I smiled in the last 18 years.’

On Disney Villains week, Dance Moms star JoJo credited her partner Jenna Johnson, who she refers to as her big sister, for getting her through the week.

She told reporters: ‘The reason why I was able to overcome [my emotions] was because of my amazing coach [Johnson] and because of my dances this week. Everyone always says dance is an escape, dance is a place where you can express yourself and I’ve always said, “That’s cheesy,” and dance is just the place to have fun and kill it and do good and do your thing. But this week, I really learned that it is a little escape.

‘What goes on in my personal life every day is something. However, this week was very, very extreme and something that I had never gone through and something that I’ve never felt before. And it’s tough and it’s tricky, but luckily I have really good people in my life. And I’m really lucky that every day this week I got to spend three hours with my best friend in rehearsals and we got to dance.’

JoJo and Jenna became the first couple this season to receive a perfect 40 from the judges, with their foxtrot to Look At Me, I’m Sandra Dee from Grease earning top marks.
