Jilly Isabella stuns as she 'dries her tears' after lockdown announcement

There were a few glum faces across Scotland yesterday as the country was plunged into a new lockdown.

Social media star Jilly Isabella voiced her own disappointment following Nicola Sturgeon’s announcement, but her super stylish look cheered up more than a few of her fans.

Taking to Instagram to share a sultry snap of herself all decked out in black, the influencer looked bang on trend with chic boots, a blazer and a gorgeous knee length skirt with a split to the thigh.

Clutching a newspaper as she stood near her plush flat in Glasgow’s west end, the stunner said she was “using this paper to dry my tears after that announcement”.

Hearts WAG Jilly, real name Jilly Cross, is a popular draw on the social media site, with more than 89k followers.

And her adoring fans were blown away with her latest post, giving her something to smile about in the wake of the latest restrictions across Scotland.

One said: “You look unreal.”

One said: “Ugh dreamy

Another said: “Queeeeen.”

One offered support, saying: “You got thisss.”

And another said: “My babe.”

Jilly, who has been dating former Rangers star Andy Halliday for more than seven years, is fast becoming known as one of the country’s most stylish and entertaining Instagram personalities.

Last month she caused a Christmas dinner stooshie after mocking her pal over excluding potato croquettes from her festive dinner plate.

The 25-year-old had asked her Instagram  followers: “Do you have croquettes with your Christmas dinner?” while sharing screenshots of a friend who disagreed with her.
