Jennifer Lawrence looked radiant as she showed off her baby bump at the world premiere of her new film Don’t Look Up.

The actress, 31, took to the red carpet in New York on Sunday in a classy and floaty gold ensemble. The glittery floor-length outfit perfectly showed off her growing bump as she posed for pics.

The Oscar winner is expecting her first child with her art gallery director hubby Cooke Maroney. The couple tied the knot in October 2019 in Rhode Island in front of a star-studded guest list including Adele, Amy Schumer, Kris Jenner and Emma Stone.

Jennifer was joined by co-star Leonardo DiCaprio on the red carpet at the Lincoln Cente for the Netflix flick.

The movie focuses on Jennifer’s and Leo’s characters – two low-level astronomers. They are tasked with going on a huge media tour to prepare mankind of the dangers faced by a comet which is approaching and could destroy planet Earth.

The Hunger Games star first announced her pregnancy in September after she was spotted with a noticeable bump in New York.

Her representatives quickly confirmed the news after rumours broke and sources told PEOPLE at the time that the star had been wanting to start a family for a long time.

The source, who revealed Jennifer was happy to finally find the right partner in Cooke, said: “‘She loves married life, and they have a solid foundation for a baby. She is very happy and looking forward to being a mom.”

Last month Jennifer opened up on a terrifying moment which left her fearing for her life.

In an interview Vanity Fair the pregnant star told how she was flying from her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, to New York City with her brothers in September 2017, when one of the two engines failed on a private jet.

“I know, flying private, I deserve to die”, she quipped when remembering the incident during her chat with the publication.

She recalled: “My skeleton was all that was left in the seat. We were all just going to die.

“I started leaving little mental voicemails to my family, you know, ‘I’ve had a great life, I’m sorry’.”

She went on to explain her thoughts: “Oh, my God, maybe we’ll survive this? I’ll be a burn victim, this will be painful, but maybe we’ll live.

“Please, Lord Jesus, let me keep my hair. Wrap me in your hair-loving arms. Please don’t let me go bald’.”

After thankfully surviving the engine failure, Jennifer was then forced to board another plane. She admitted that even now flying is an “horrific” experience for her.
