Jadon Sancho has major reservations about how his career would progress at Manchester United after his summer transfer to Old Trafford collapsed, according to reports.

As revealed by Metro.co.uk in January, United were considering a move for the 19-year-old with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to improve his attacking options in the upcoming transfer window.

But Borussia Dortmund have stood firm over Sancho’s availability and have insisted that they want to keep the winger for at least another season.

United, who had made Sancho one of their priorities for the summer, are now out of the running to sign the England international having failed to secure a place in next season’s Champions League.

But according to The Independent, Sancho is concerned about the current state of United and how he would develop if he joined Solskjaer’s side at this stage in his career.

United have suffered a drastic dip in form under Solskjaer, losing eight of their last 12 games.

And now the prospect of playing Europa League football with United next season is not an attractive proposition for Sancho, who is also wanted by Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

United, meanwhile, are targeting a move for Swansea City’s Daniel James instead of Sancho.

Solskjaer is also reportedly keen on a deal for Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, although United are set to face competition from Manchester City and Tottenham.
