Jack Grealish was seriously impressed by Dele Alli’s stunning strike against Wolfsberger, sending a message of praise to the Spurs star on social media.

Alli was in splendid form as Tottenham Hotspur thumped the Austrian outfit 4-0, getting on the scoresheet and providing an assist.

A double from Carlos Vinicius and a sweet Gareth Bale strike wrapped up the win, as Jose Mourinho’s side booked their spot in the last-16 of the Europa League.

Alli’s overhead kick was the highlight of the match, giving his team the lead after just 10 minutes in sublime style.

Aston Villa captain Grealish enjoyed the moment and sent a message of approval to his fellow international on Instagram: ‘Naaaaaah @dele.’

Mourinho, meanwhile, was keen to heap praise Alli for his overall contribution rather than just the superb bicycle kick.

‘We had a difficult period, he had an injury and at the same time talk, talk, talk about staying or leaving,’ Mourinho told BT Sport.

‘The market closed, the injury went and he started working with motivation.

‘He is playing very well, I am not saying in this moment we have a starting line-up because of so many matches but it is coming.

‘The goal was beautiful but the meaning of the assists and hard work for team means more to me. That work of continuity in the performance is what makes me really happy.’
