Most of Sainsbury’s stores will stay open on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day but hours will be shorter.
For example, larger stores will open from from 7am to 7pm on New Year’s Eve, whereas some smaller shops will open as late as 10pm.
For New Year’s Day, bigger shops can expect to be open from 9am to 7pm, while convenience stores may stay open as late as 9pm.
