What is the team news?

Leeds are hopeful that Stuart Dallas and Adam Forshaw will pass a late fitness test ahead of the midweek game.

The pair missed the 3-0 win over Norwich at the weekend due to injury but it is hoped they will be able to play a part.

Captain Liam Cooper is sidelined after picking up an injury in the warm-up before their game against Swansea last week.

Preston will be without a number of key players for the match including Paul Gallagher who is serving the last of a three match suspension.

In the first round manager Alex Neil made 11 changes to his squad but injury issues at Deepdale means he will not have that luxury.

Captain Tom Clarke (groin) and Alan Browne (hamstring) join Calum Woods, Sean Maguire and Billy Bodin on the ever growing injury list.
