Is Chorley vs Wolves on TV tonight? Kick-off time, channel and how to watch FA Cup fixture

Wolverhampton Wanderers will seek to use the FA Cup as a springboard to rediscover form, when they travel to non-league side Chorley in the fourth round on Friday evening.

Defensive concerns are very much a current theme for Wolves, but they will hope to keep a second clean sheet in the cup against sixth-tier opponents.

Chorley saw off Derby County in the third round, one of the shocks of that weekend, while they also won their most recent National League North game against Farsley Celtic, 3-2, thanks to a late turnaround having been a goal behind with fewer than 15 minutes to play. They sit ninth in the table, just a point outside the play-off spots, but will have another giant-killing episode on their minds first before worrying about promotion.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the match.

The match kicks off at 7:45pm on Friday, 22 January 2021.

The game will be screened live on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate. Subscribers can watch the fixture via the BT Sport app and desktop website.

Chorley boss Jamie Vermiglio must choose between Lewis Baines and Andy Halls and Adam Henley in his defensive line. Connor Hall scored against Derby in the last round but he was on the bench at the weekend, with Harry Cardwell starting up front instead.

Wolves are without Marcal, Raul Jimenez, Jonny and Daniel Podence, but will hope to have Adama Traore fit again.

CHO: Urwin, Halls, Baines, Leather, Birch, Shenton, Tomlinson, Calveley, Cardwell, Hall, Newby

WOL: Ruddy, Hoever, Boly, Kilman, Coady, Ait-Nouri, Dendoncker, Moutinho, Vitinha, Silva, Cutrone

A second giant-killing in a matter of weeks? If the Premier League side rotate heavily, Chorley could do it thanks to Wolves’ awful form and lack of scoring options. This one could go all the way. Chorley 1-1 Wolves and the game goes to penalties.
