Is Celtic player Diego Laxalt teasing his future with vintage red car photo?

Uruguay born Celtic footballer Diego Laxalt appeared to tease online fans by putting up a picture of his beloved vintage red car being prepared in the garage.

The car appeared on his Instagram stories along with a song which asked: ‘What you doing? Where you? and ‘Oh you got plans.”

Diego, whose dad is a mechanic, has been driving a green car in Scotland since he’s been at Celtic park.

However, at home in Montevideo, Uruguay, his forty year old beloved vintage motor that his mechanic dad Gustavo converted for him is normally kept in the garage.

According to previous reports, it sits in the workshop at the family business LSS Mecanica until Diego ventures home to drive it.

The new photo of the car, beautiful BMW 2002 TI, from the 70s, suggests it is being prepared for the imminent arrival of its owner.

Being red and black in colour, it could however also mark Diego’s return to AC Milan.

Although the Hoops were said to be looking a £7.2m move for Diego, that now appears to be off the table.

Fans now reckon the post signifies that Diego will be returning home in coming weeks.
