60 mins: GOAL! Beautiful.

57 mins: Arsenal are turning up the heat. Tierney puts on a burst of pace to get into the box and deliver a chipped cross into the middle. Lacazette collects and lays it to Partey. He sends it out to Cedric whose cross is headed away. 

54 mins: Newcastle are going to have to step up now. A give and go from Jamal Lewis results in a free kick on the left wing. Shelvey takes the set piece and picks out Wilson in the box. His header is the best and the ball loops softly into the hands of Leno. 

50 mins: GOAL! One long diagonal pass from Partey releases Aubameyang on the counter attack. He’s only got Krafth to beat and credit to the defender who forces Aubameyang onto his left foot but it makes no difference as the Arsenal captain fires home from inside the box. 

48 mins: Save! Partey passes the ball up to Lacazette who slots Saka the ball. He chips it into the middle of the box where Lacazette then brings it down, turns and shoots. The shot goes through a number of players and Darlow sees it late but he reacts well and drops to his right in time to push the ball wide of the far post. 

Second half: Newcastle get the match back underway. Arsenal need to be more clinical in front of goal. They only forced Karl Darlow into one save in the first half.

45 mins: Half time. Not exactly a classic this one. Goalless at the break. 

44 mins: David Luiz finds a touch of space after he leaves his marker in the box. He meets Saka’s corner kick but heads it high and wide past the goal. 

42 mins: A rare Newcastle attacks results in their first corner of the game. Jonjo Shelvey steps up to take it but it’s a wasted opportunity. He doesn’t beat the first man and Alexandre Lacazette heads it away for Arsenal.
