Stars including Bella Hadid and Chrissy Teigen have shared a glimpse inside their election night parties as they anxiously waited for the results to come in.

Americans went to the polls yesterday as President Donald Trump took on Joe Biden in the race for the White House.

A number of famous faces took to Instagram to tell fans how they were spending their evening as they huddled around their TVs to watch the results roll in.

Supermodel Bella, 24, revealed she was making corn dogs and shared pictures of her efforts as she rustled them up from scratch.

She also revealed she’d gone to vote with her mum Yolanda and posted pictures of them both wearing masks as they celebrated casting their ballots.

Yolanda, who was born in the Netherlands, only recently became a US citizen despite living in Los Angeles since 1994.

Bella wrote: “Took my mama to vote for the first time today!!! She became an American citizen just recently # and this year she was so determined to get out and vote. I am so proud of her!!! Wearing our best Blues!!!!”

Chrissy Teigen admitted she was “stress cooking tacos” and repeated the words “everything’s fine” over and over as she got the meal together.

She added: “Don’t worry about us, we’re fine.”

Mindy Kaling seemed a little more upbeat as she shared a snap of her election day cake.

The actress/comedian’s dessert was decorated with the message: “Happy Election Day! VOTE!”

Cardi B shared a video of herself nervously puffing on three cigarettes at once.

She captioned the clip; “How these elections got me watching these states turn red.”

Sharon Osbourne also admitted she was glued to the TV on election night.

She shared a picture of herself holding two of her dogs and anxiously holding her thumb ot her mouth.

The X Factor star wrote: “If you need me I will be permanently frozen in front of the [TV] today with my [dogs].”

Election night would have been a nervous one for another star, Kanye West, after his presidential campaign fizzed out.

He admitted defeat in the early hours of the morning, but vowed to try again by running in 2024.

He tweeted a picture which showed his silhouette against a map of the US and wrote: “WELP KANYE 2024.”
