Inside Simon Cowell's eye-watering net worth as The X Factor is axed

Simon Cowell has pulled the plug on ITV’s musical talent show The X Factor after 17 years.

The show has launched many top-selling British music acts in the last two decades – including One Director and Leona Lewis.

It’s now understood the music mogul isn’t keen on returning to the show, with no definite plans for a next series.

Instead, Cowell has plans to feature America’s Got Talent stars in a new Las Vegas residency called America’s Got Talent Las Vegas Live.

He will also focus on the launch of a brand new gameshow he has helped mastermind – called Walk The Line.

So despite The X factor being axed, the money will no doubt keep rolling in for the millionaire.
